About Telemental Health

To make behavioral health services more accessible to our community members, our independently contracted providers offer telemental health, or "online counseling." Telemental health allows mental health providers to offer services remotely to clients who have either a lack of access to mental health resources in their community, transportation limitations, or physical, emotional, and/or lifestyle qualities that make it difficult for them to visit a mental health office in person. At MAP, many of our partnering providers can offer select mental health services* using HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms, which involve online video-conferencing and guarantee your confidentiality. If you are interested in telemental health, we encourage you to contact your insurance company to determine your eligibility for services and to contact us to schedule an appointment with one of our partnering providers.
